Born and raised in Hawaii, I had a love for art from a very young age. Drawing, painting or just passing the time away in math class, I was the guy in the back of the class drawing in my notebook instead of taking notes. This trait would be the one thing that would direct my life for years to come. While attending the University of Hawaii and majoring in art, I took a job in Waikiki airbrushing T-shirts. Up until then, I didn't know much about airbrushing, but was very impressed that someone could create such "cool" artwork, so quickly on an ordinary blank shirt.
It all started with painting a simple T-shirt. From there, I was able to expand my creative talents by putting art on all sorts of things such as motorcycles, cars, boats, and even wall murals.
Although A lot of my commission paintings tend to be on a wide variety of surfaces, Painting on metal seems to be a very popular choice these days. Gallery wrapped canvas, and Artist paper have always been popular as well
Hawaii is a very unique place filled with a lot of colorful flowers, animals and course an overall beautiful environment. My painting style tends to carry a lot of those vibrant colors and leaning towards detail and realism.
I hope you will find some enjoyment from my art as much as I enjoy creating it.
Mahalo and Aloha for visiting!
